Middle Tennessee Sports Awards show set for Monday: Here are the nominees in each sport (2024)

Some of the best high school athletes, coaches and programs from the 2023-24 school year, in the Nashville area, will be highlighted during this year's Middle Tennessee High School Sports Awards.

The show, produced in partnership with Nissan., will be held June 10 at Marathon Music Works. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event will begin at 7 p.m. All nominees who RSVP will receive complementary tickets to the event at no charge.

The Tennessean's Middle Tennessee High School Sports Awards are a nine-month student-athlete recognition program that includes a red-carpet show. Nominees for player of the year are from Tennessee sanctioned high school sports. The awards showcase will also feature other premier awards for both on and off-the-field accomplishments of student-athletes, coaches and teams, including the Kaia Jergenson Courage award, the Fred Russell Lifetime Achievement award as well as boys and girls coach of the year, boys and girls team of the year, and the boys and girls athlete of the year.

Sports Awards venue and parking

Venue:Marathon Music Works, 1402 Clinton St, Nashville, TN, 37203. All purses and bags are subject to search, no backpacks or large bags allowed; Light concessions will be available. This is a cashless venue.

Venue parking:Extremely limited. If can rideshare, it's recommended. If unable to, parking is anywhere around the venue on various streets or garages.
